Post the Bank Account Reconciliation
Lesson progress:
After you have completed reconciling the amounts in Sparkrock 365 with the amounts that appear on a bank statement, you can post the bank reconciliation. After the bank reconciliation has been posted, a bank account statement is created. The bank statement can be viewed from the bank account card.
Before you can post the bank reconciliation, the value in the Difference field must be zero.
To post a bank account reconciliation
Choose , enter bank account reconciliations, and then choose the related link.
The Bank Account Reconciliations page opens.
Select the bank account reconciliation that you want to post, and then on the action bar, choose Process > Edit.
The Bank Acc. Reconciliation page opens.
To view a preliminary draft of the bank reconciliation statement, on the action bar, choose Actions > Posting > Test Report.
The Bank Rec. Test Report shows the resulting entries if you were to post the bank reconciliation.
On the action bar, choose Posting > Post.
To view posted bank account reconciliations
Choose , enter bank accounts, and then choose the related link.
The Bank Accounts page opens.
Select the bank account for which you want to view posted bank account reconciliations, and then on the action bar, choose Related > Bank Acc. > Statements.
The Bank Account Statement List page opens.
Select the statement that you want to view, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > View.
